The Marenda in the center of Dornbirn mediates between the coffee house culture, a restaurant and a traditional baker's shop with its transparent manufacturing process.

The hairdresser and beauty saloon is located centrally on the 1st and 2nd floor of the shopping center. Surprisingly it turns out to be a relaxing area. The internal wooden staircase connects the two areas. The pea green color scheme and the corporate design were created by artist Roland Stecher.

Not only the shoes are tailor-made at the orthopaedic shoemaker. The overall atmosphere fits into the vault of the old town with the set back shelves and the accentuated seats. The runways and ramps offer suitable shoes for everyone.

The shopping paradise for handymen is perfectly located. The imposing size is perceived on the conveyor belt at the glass facade; the structure of the shelf canyons can still be recognized in the bright halls despite of the storage utilization.

The showroom and sales room with its three glazed sides is staged as a light fixture. Thus, the outward appearance of the portable cube represents its function as an object.

The concept of a market is clearly recognizable in the high hall in timber construction style. The daily shopping is done with a "friendly” casualness caused by the open atmosphere and it may be perceived as a relaxing activity.

The furniture store along the road to Bregenz attracts attention with its oversized, generous, glazed showcase. The building as an entity is window display, entrance gate and lobby at the same time, and also provides exhibition space for artistic interventions.

The spectacular supermarket is wrapped in polycarbonate sheets as if vacuum-packed at the blue square of Lustenau. The large cantilevered roof which reminds of the old market halls covers part of the village square.
