The building complex interferes only minimally with the topography of the town and imitates the scale of the adjacent single-family development. The project includes 66 units and those for the assisted living communities were completed during the third construction phase.

A classic is Ruhwiesn. It is Vorarlberg’s first estate that was created by a joint ownership as a radically economical timber construction with a high self-build contribution.

The building marks the beginning of a large residential development along the river Ill. As a counterpart to the old spinning mill, the seven-storey residential building with a supermarket on the ground floor rises wrapped in black natural slate. The prerequisites for the future extension have already been created.

The residential and commercial building is literally „fitted into” the old town of Feldkirch. Because only its facade is visible in the narrow lane, it can only be “experienced”.

The center development project, currently the largest in Götzis, is worth a visit.
It aims to combine aspects of living, working, residing in an urban atmosphere and high quality.

In the center of Dornbirn the glass facade of the extension suggests something special behind. A spacious atrium opens up to twenty-one apartments as a semi-public zone.

A new inner-city district was created with the redesign of the centre of Dornbirn around the City Hall and the residential and office buildings of the former Ulm-area. This high-density district responds with individual cubes to the villas of the neighborhood, the cemetery and the Mohren-Brewery. The high-rise will be rebuilt and extended by seven condominiums.

The condominium copies the old town hall, which was pulled down, in volume and form. Additional space requirements are covered by two restrained structures facing the Marktstrasse which are adapted to the dimensions of this inner city location.

The outdated council house has been upgraded with the help of glass, aluminium and a friendly color concept. Clearances, staircases and outdoor units have been redesigned. The houses comply with passive energy standards because the winter gardens serve as thermal buffers.

In the center of Dornbirn the old Ölz manufactury has been transformed into a low-energy residential building. Some rooms of the 14 loft apartments that revitalize the existing structure are as high as 3.5 meters.

The three-storey condominium is designed for lofts which facilitates a densification between the industrial district and the residential area with detached single-family houses.

The striking exposed masonry made of rough brick gives the condominium in Oberndorf a Dutch atmosphere. The ceiling-high wooden windows, the loggias, the balconies and the terraces ensure a smooth transition to the outer area.

The main premises of the textile company F.M. Hämmerle shine with a new gleam. Two-storey apartments, lofts, practices, offices and commercial establishments have revitalized this central area. The careful renovation of the neoclassical building was complemented by the addition of new parts in copper skin.

The two dark buildings mediate between urban shapes and individual single family-houses in the city center. The apartments are arranged around the central staircase like a pinwheel. Thus, each apartment faces two cardinal directions.

Classy dwelling combined with the quality of living of single-family homes is possible in apartment buildings as well. The housing units are grouped around a glazed, light-flooded atrium. The spatial planning allows that apartments can also be combined.

The complex is an outstanding prototype for the development of a timber construction system which is suitable for multi-storey residential buildings. The construction is based on a modular system with prefabricated elements that are laid out in a grid.

Six houses are linked together on the western slope and form a differentiated entity caused by alterations in materialization and deep-cut terraces.

The seven single-family, terraced houses in compact wooden construction are only connected underground. The staggered positioning of the units optimizes the illumination and provides each unit with a private and secluded garden.

Compact housing saves energy. Thus, the eight units have optimized external areas with a centered and central circulation. The implementation of the technical details consistently complies with ecological and sustainability standards.

The options for development concerning life, living and working that are provided by a 50 square metres large unit are flexible and allow the improvement of spatial quality. New approaches to housing are presented by the interplay of environment, external areas and privacy of the 14 unit complex.

The positioning of the four organically shaped buildings with a total of 76 apartments arises from the interplay of the topography, the incidence of light and the geometry. The parts of the complex are playfully arranged like waves and thus a shadow-free position to each other is guaranteed.

An idyllic place near the old town was an appealing starting point. The three buildings strongly respond to the topology and follow the natural setting of the back slope and the valleys.

The privileged location directly on Lake Constance and right in the center of Bregenz determines the orientation of the buildings. The whole complex consists of three buildings offering a total of 54 apartments. The apartments that are set on a base can be reached by porches whereas the apartments facing west have loggias.

The strengths of the corner house located in the traffic-reduced center of Bregenz are the outdoor areas and the great quality of living. It features a facade of glass and aluminium, a spacious entrance hall, offices on the ground floor and apartments on the upper floors.
